The Conference
 
The 8th edition of the Metaheuristic International Conference (MIC 2009) will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from the 13th to the 16th of July, 2009.
 
As in the past, the conference will provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners in the field of metaheuristics to present their latest results and findings in a fruitful and open-minded environment. Contributions on any topic in metaheuristics are welcomed. The Call for Papers can be downloaded here.
 
The conference will take place at the Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg, situated in the XIX Century Reservoir Tower, right within one of the major parks of the city of Hamburg. The Hotel is currently offering a limited number of rooms at a discounted price for Conference Participants (€140 for a Standard Queen Single Room - special offer valid only until the 29th of May.)

    Registration is done via the online registration tool. Credit card payments are activated now. Please note that we can only accept VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express.
    Important: A separate registration must be paid for each paper presented at the conference.

     


    Cancellation Fees
     
    • Early Cancellation before June 13: 30 % of the conference fee
    • Cancellation from June 13 until June 28: 50 % of the conference fee
    • Cancellation afterwards: 100 %  of the conference fee
